With a subtle tribute to traditional jazz greats, Jeff Hamilton has created the "Maximus," a hybrid of the feel of a vintage drum with modern precision and articulation. To facilitate even the most dynamic playing, the 6-inch deep 100% mahogany shell features a special snare bed. A warm, fat sound meets a sensitive, fast response, for use in both rock bands and small jazz ensembles.
