The 15 mm thick solid soundboard features an extra-thick soundport ring for bass compression. Inside the cajon are two sets of ten micro-wound cajon metal strings that create a snare effect. These strings are hand-wound in the style of master cajon builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz, and each set can be adjusted with the included wrench. Rounded corners on the faceplate and thumb recesses provide increased comfort and playability. Made in Spain.
