Description
With its special mix of soft, trashy hi-hats and crashes combined with a highly versatile ride, this set offers the drummer versatile expression possibilities. It includes the 15" Dual Hi-Hat, the 18" Dual Crash, the 20" Extra Thin Hammered Crash, and the 21" Polyphonic Ride—all from the Byzance series. The cymbals in this specially compiled set were selected because they complement each other perfectly both tonally and stylistically. Thanks to the exceptional hammering and special lathing process, the 15" Dual Hi-Hat has a very soft attack and an earthy basic character. The 18" Dual Crash offers a very explosive response with a trashy tone. The 20" Extra Thin Hammered Crash also contributes to the versatility of the cymbal set with its trashy response but clearer sustain. The thin rim of the 21" Polyphonic Ride also makes this cymbal very suitable for crashing. It also offers a clear attack and, with its large bell, very versatile applications. All cymbals in this set are hand-hammered from B20 bronze in the Turkish tradition.
