It includes the 16" Vintage Trash Crash and the 18" Extra Dry Thin Crash. The Vintage Trash Crash is sandblasted, which slightly dampens strong overtones and the attack, giving the cymbal its soft touch and transparent character. The very thin weight and heavy hammering give the Extra Dry Thin Crash its very direct attack and short sustain. This dry, percussive sound embeds the cymbal perfectly into the sound of the drum set and allows for a quiet cymbal sound even in smaller rooms. Both cymbals in this set are hand-hammered from B20 bronze in the Turkish tradition.
