The Sabian HHX series combines the best of HH, AA, and AAX. The different material thicknesses and weights mean every drummer can find the right cymbal for their style. HHX cymbals are worked with a large hammer, which compresses the metal at specific points and makes the cymbal respond more quickly. With the exception of the "Manhattan" versions, all Sabian HHX cymbals feature a slightly thicker, rough, unmachined cymbal cup. This gives the cymbals a broader sound spectrum.
