And this is no coincidence, as the Japanese manufacturer began its career 40 years ago under the name Star, before establishing itself as "Tama" in 1974. Most recently, the Japanese manufacturer presented astonishing drums under this rather simple name, redefining the term "high-end." Now, along with the Star hardware, the corresponding accessories are also being launched, completing the Star concept: the best of the best.
 
The Pioneer
Many of the innovative hardware ideas from Japan have long since become industry standards. For example, the nylon sleeves in the stand tubes and the Omni-Ball tom holder originated from the ingenuity of Tama-Den.
