Hand-signed Peter Erskine Snare made of spruce/maple with Remo heads
The Tama PE1445 Peter Erskine Snare 14"x4.5" Wild Spruce impresses with hybrid spruce/maple shells and Remo heads. Each Tama PE1445 snare features a special sticker on the inside, bearing Peter Erskine's original signature. The world-famous drummer signed each sticker himself. The shell construction consists of six plies of wood and is 6 mm thick.
This uses four plies of spruce with two additional inner plies of maple. The Sound Focus Ring on the top is also manufactured according to this principle. Remo Ambassador Coated/Hazy heads, combined with the eight tube lugs, provide outstanding tuning stability. The inwardly curved Sound Arcs Hoops, with a thickness of 2.3 mm, protect the drumsticks while also offering sensitive response and excellent control. The Linear Drive release allows for fine and balanced adjustment of the hi-carbon snare wires.
