Description Peter Erskine's 6”x10” Signature Snare Drum, like his favorite from the STAR series, is made of ash in a barrel construction.
The shell consists of 12 precision-cut staves that are tightly welded together glued together to form the 10 mm thick shell. Peter prefers the sound of ash wood for his side snare because it offers that powerful, dynamic tone. The snare is equipped with the STAR Series Super Resonant Mounting System to reproduce the maximum natural resonance of the drum.
