STAR is the flagship of TAMA Drums. It takes the knowledge and research we developed for the Starclassic series to a new level by rethinking every detail to improve shell resonance.
The STAR Bubinga features a 5 mm thin shell. Each shell is equipped with 9 mm thick Sound Focus Rings (SFR) for structural support. This shell configuration ensures clear projection and resonance to highlight the Bubinga's distinctive sound. This three-piece configuration includes a 20"x14" bass drum, making it a super versatile kit for the advanced drummer that can be used in a variety of performance styles.
