The TAMA STAR Maple Shell Kit represents the absolute premium class in drum construction. As TAMA's flagship series, it combines decades of experience with innovative construction methods to take sound and feel to a new level.
The Solid Core Ply shell construction combines the warmth and openness of high-quality maple with the rich tonal richness of a solid layered shell. This special design ensures a harmonious tone with balanced sustain – ideal for demanding studio and live situations.
 
The set consists of a 20"x14" bass drum, a 12"x8" rack tom, and a 14"x14" floor tom, offering a versatile configuration that plays to its strengths in jazz, funk, fusion, and rock.
Factory equipped with Remo® heads, die-cast hoops, and the innovative Super Resonant Mounting System, this shell kit guarantees outstanding resonance and tuning stability.
