This 14x6.5" Stave Ash shell is the latest product in the STAR Reserve series. Ash wood is characterized by its brightness and sensitivity and its wide tonal spectrum. Similar to a conga drum, 16 - 10 mm thick ash wood staves are used for the shell construction, which offers a faster response and a deeper tone than conventional snare shells. With TAMA's Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires, we achieve an extremely dynamic, bright, and crisp sound. These properties allow the player to express themselves freely. Together with the high-quality sound and the intricate grain of the Ash wood creates an incomparable experience that appeals to players and audiences alike.
