Star Drums are Tama's flagship series. Since the Star series already includes versions made of Bubinga and Maple, the product developers wanted to create another tonal option. They chose walnut, a wood with wonderful visual and tonal properties. The deep low-end frequencies are striking and give this series a modern sound character. The outer layer made of Japanese chestnut also brings this high-end set to a top visual level.
