With the Starphonic, TAMA introduces a completely new concept in high-end snare drums. Dreamlike finishes, new, practical features, and incredibly great sounds – a TAMA Starphonic snare sets new standards.

Equipped with a grooved hoop, super-sensitive hi-carbon snappy snare, bearing edge, freedom lug & claw hook, "linear-drive" strainer, non-loosering rubber gasket, detachable butt plate, and ratchet-style snappy tension adjuster, the snares in the Starphonic series are among the professional snares. The Starphonics are available as a wooden snare (Maole, Bubinga), steel snare, brass snare, aluminum snare and bronze snare.
