George Kollias, drummer of the extreme metal band Nile, is known for his outstanding technical skills. His feet are faster than most drummers' hands, and with his DVD: Intense Metal Drumming, he made a name for himself in the drumming scene worldwide.
"I've been playing Vic Firth sticks my whole life because they're the best," says Kollias. "I knew there were new stick designs for drummers like me that allowed me to play very fast, but with feeling, and produce the sound I wanted."
The George Kollias Signature Stick combines the shape of the 5A and 5B models. The tip is barrel-shaped to achieve a full sound on the drums and a clear sound on the cymbals.
